Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent role on a campus serving 8–13 students per home. Married couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor youth, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and work a nine-on/three-off cycle before transitioning into a Placed Houseparent role with the same group of students. This position offers relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; prior experience with youth and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required. The role is based on an on-campus, housing-supported environment in Hershey, PA (with listed Rollingwood, TX as an additional location in the posting context).
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
