Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) living on-campus in Lindale, TX to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle and eventual transition to a placed houseparent role; relocation assistance and paid training provided; requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license and certification to drive student vans, and being a legally married couple aged 27+ with at least two years of marriage; must be able to lift 50 lbs; no alcohol on duty; pet limitations apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Lindale, TX (on-campus housing)
