Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning/engaging in development and recreational activities, leading devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured family-like environment. The initial work schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-person role for couples
