Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and care for 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentoring, medication administration, and planning activities. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervising budgeting and reporting, and initially serving nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off before transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided as part of the role, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two years married (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Compliance with campus conduct: no alcohol on duty, smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Commitment to providing daily supervision, mentorship, and devotions

- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
