Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role for Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, manage routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent model. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free, on-campus environment. Relocation to Hershey, PA offered with paid training and comprehensive benefits; couples must complete individual applications and be legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27+ at hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year span of married status for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing restriction
- No alcohol on duty

- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person married couple team
- Licensed driver and ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
