Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a nine-on/three-off schedule with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year minimum marriage duration for both spouses
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
