Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students in on-campus homes, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan/develop developmental and recreational activities. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role begins as a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation is approximately $46,917 per person annually, including on-campus housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person married couple role
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Protestant Judeo-Christian chapel attendance allowed; proselytizing prohibited
- Desire to work with youth in a residential setting
