Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. The couple resides in an on-campus student home and provides care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on, three-off cycle before transitioning to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty while on campus
- Two-person role for couples
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to complete individual employment applications
- Desire to work in a residential school setting
- Willingness to reside on campus in student homes
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
