Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent couple will reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, household routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and participation in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Prescribed Houseparent living with the same group of students; responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, and engaging students in developmental and recreational activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse requirement with individual applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
