Job Summary
Two-person Full-Time Flex Houseparent role for a married couple. Live on campus and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and following a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a consistent in-home houseparent. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married couple requirement
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
- Comfort with supervising student groups of 8–13
- Two-person, fully on-campus housing role
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Ability to manage household routines and student schedules
- Strong budgeting and reporting skills
- Medication administration
- Ability to drive students to activities
