Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide a structured, family-like living environment for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role. The position requires residence in an on-campus home, a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule (with later transition to a permanent home with the same group of students), relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and complete individual applications; the role emphasizes safeguarding student wellbeing and modeling professionalism for a faith-based campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in student care
