Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent. Relocation provided with a total compensation around $180,000 per couple and benefits including healthcare, retirement, PTO, and housing/meals; position requires living on campus, on a nine-on/three-off schedule initially, with progression to a fixed student home.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married commitment for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Experience with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
