Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: married couples reside on-campus in student homes (large group living ~8–13 students), providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities (devotions and Sunday Chapel). Roles alternate between initial nine-on, three-off duty cycles and later transitioning to a placed houseparent in a dedicated student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA required with on-campus housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits included; salary per person is $44,768 with total compensation around $168,000 per couple. Benefits cover medical/dental/vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, PTO, relocation assistance, and paid training. Qualifications include experience with youth, two-person married couple requirement, age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to lead daily devotions and chapel services on a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
