Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. A married couple resides in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and support, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with an initial nine-on/three-off duty schedule and eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 per couple), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training. Both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
