Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School live on campus in student homes to supervise ~8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and supervision, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel visits, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required. The role requires a legally married couple, both spouses applying individually, and adherence to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty). Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (approx. $168,000 per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse collaboration for employment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness for on-campus residence with students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
