Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a career path from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents on the same student homes. Relocation assistance is provided as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
