Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents residing on-campus to supervise and care for 8–13 students in a family-like home environment. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement living with the same group of students in their own home.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to be role models for students
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications by both spouses
