Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, and active engagement in developmental and recreational activities for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include budgeting/reporting, leading daily devotions, and coordinating schedules; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA and completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
