Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA (relocation to Hershey). Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. This role requires a two-spouse, legally married team, both spouses 27+ years old, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; drivers license and van-certification ability are required. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
