Job Summary
Two-person married couple serves as Full-time Flex Houseparents on an on-campus student home, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handling budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent caring for the same student home; requires strong youth-support, caregiving, transportation, and community-building skills within a faith-based, college-preparatory residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
