Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, a two-person married couple role, reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation provided and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to be certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to reside in on-campus homes and supervise students
- Experience with youth or volunteering with youth
