Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and transitions to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a two-spouse, two-person role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
