Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and daily routines for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel visits, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes and may transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home, with relocation to Hershey, PA supported by relocation assistance. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
