Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, ensure wellness, and drive students to activities while planning and engaging in developmental and recreational programs. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services, adhering to a schedule of nine consecutive on-duty days followed by three days off. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group after initial support. Both spouses must legally be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and complete individual applications to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
