Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School live in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and budgeting/household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
