Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple team) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and budgeting/household reporting. The role transitions from nine-days-on/three-days-off to the Placed Houseparent placement with the same students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required, with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits, including relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
