Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple will reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role transitions from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with paid training and comprehensive benefits; two-spouse requirement and age minimum of 27 for both, with high school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
- Planned on-campus placement in a student home
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
