Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation, and activity planning for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing routines, budgeting, leading devotions and Chapel visits, and supervising student welfare. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with full benefits. Requires a legally married couple (both spouses at least 27), high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
