Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students; responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires two-spouse, married couple applicants with relocation to Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
