Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, with responsibilities including daily supervision, mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role begins on a nine-days-on, three-days-off rotating schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent arrangement, and includes relocation to Hershey, PA with on-site housing and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
