Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person married couple residing on campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition from flexible home assignments to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus living involved; benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
