Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on a Milton Hershey School campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines, schedules, and medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance. Initially support various student homes on a 9-on/3-off schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (approximately $46,917) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Requires a two-person married couple, both aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two spouses, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
