Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) resident in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students; duties include scheduling, medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Roles transition from initial nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include a salary per person with comprehensive medical/dental/vision, relocation assistance, paid training, time off, and housing/utilities. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to lead religious devotions within a Judeo-Christian context.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services

- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
