Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for a married couple as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/house reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided as part of the role, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a two-year married-spouse commitment with both spouses applying individually; on-campus housing and a family-like environment are core aspects of the position.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license

- Willingness to reside on-campus in a student home
- Two-person (married) partnership with both spouses applying
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
