Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent team living on campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured routine. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent position with continued responsibility for the same student group. Requires a married couple (both spouses) with at least two years of marriage, age 27+, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; relocation assistance and paid training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role is on-campus student-home environment
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
