Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on campus in a family-like student home at Milton Hershey School. They provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine-on/three-off duty to a placed houseparent when appropriate. Position includes relocation assistance on a full-benefits package with medical/dental/vision, retirement benefits, paid time off, and training, with a strong emphasis on 27+ year-old spouses and a shared commitment to student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead devotions and chapel services
- Comfort with on-campus housing and youth supervision
- Ability to complete individual employment applications
