Job Summary
Student Support Caregiver role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring ~8–13 students per home, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/developing developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living/working with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person + housing, medical/dental/vision, retirement options, PTO, relocation assistance, and paid training. Requires two-person, married-couple deployment with both spouses completing individual applications; on-campus housing in Hershey, PA area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage period between spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
