Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning/leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and supporting multiple student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule with eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse, fully married couple for the role
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Age 27+ for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
