Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with an eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
