Job Summary
Two-person, married couple in on-campus student homes serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, paid time off, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
