Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Married couples reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities. Responsibilities include budgeting/household reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and creating a family-like environment to foster students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
