Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational programs, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and eventually transition to a placed houseparent role in a family-like student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading student devotions and accompanying to chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
