Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles residing in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine-on/three-off scheduling to a placed houseparent in a consistent student home. Requires being a legally married couple (both spouses age 27 or older) and relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-campus housing and benefits. Salary per person is $46,917 plus full benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
