Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and oversee household routines for a group of 8–13 students at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required. Benefits include salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training. Qualifications require experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, two-spouse married status, age 27+, ability to drive student vans, and physical ability to lift 50 lbs; two-person role with both spouses completing individual applications."
