Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, transitioning later to a placed Houseparent role with continued on-campus residence and student-home leadership. Relocation assistance is provided; salary is $44,768 per person (approx. $168k total per couple) with comprehensive benefits. Requires married couple, both spouses age 27+, and HS diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
