Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to live in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on / three-days-off cycle and eventual transition to a placed houseparent role. Eligible couples receive relocation assistance and paid training; requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
