Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on-campus in student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel services, and oversee budgeting and reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement (married for at least two years)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- error handling of medications as needed
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
