Job Summary
As a Student Support Caregiver, you and your spouse will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents for 8–13 students in on-campus homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and structured routines. You’ll manage household operations, oversee student wellness (including medications), drive students to activities, plan and participate in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Roles evolve from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent arrangement with a consistent student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; the position emphasizes a family-like, faith-informed environment, budgeting responsibilities, and active engagement in students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided, with salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple) plus housing and meals. All applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
Additional Requirements
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Household budgeting and reporting duties
- On-campus residency required for both spouses
