Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning engaging developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. The role follows a nine days-on, three days-off schedule initially, with a transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation per couple around $180,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
