Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise, mentor, and support 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. The role requires a married couple with strong integrity, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid U.S. driver’s license with potential certification to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; salary per person is $44,768 annually (total compensation for a couple around $168,000). The position emphasizes youth mentorship, safety, and faith-based programming in a structured residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
